Valkyrie Splitz

There's entertainment here for the right person, perhaps someone who prefers a hard-hitting theme rather than hard-hitting gameplay. Or someone keen on these batch of spins type games. There are a few of these sorts of slots floating around now, not a vast amount, and none starring Valkyries spring immediately to mind, so here's a new one to add to the pile. It's quite clever to combine the ten spin thing with Splitz instead of the customary wild symbol usually added on the final spin in these games. Fair dues, Rise of the Valkyrie can be pretty interesting when a good number of reel positions have been marked on spins 1 to 9, and you're rubbing your hands in anticipation over what might drop on the tenth spin. In some ways, Spin 10 Splitz was more entertaining than the central Lightning Chase hold 'n spin feature. Trying to keep a positive attitude here, but it is incredibly basic. So much so that it does lessen the rest of what Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz has to offer. Sure, it's possible to win decent rewards, but not a lot of thought has gone into it. Just hit coins, fill spots, land the Collect symbol, and that's it, job done. There's fairly decent potential up for grabs, should it all go to plan, maxing out at5,000x the bet. In the end, Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz was an okay game to play but not one we'd be rushing to try again. Boomerang are three deep in the Lightning Range now, and while Rise of the Valkyrie Splitz doesn't have any of the glaring idiosyncrasies like the Boom+ irritation and looks nice, it doesn't do much to make the series shine overly brightly either.
