Might of Zeus

Might of Zeus isn't exactly a cutting-edge slot. For much of the time, it was tough to call it a majorly exciting one, too. Mythology can be intensely high-powered stuff, full of drama, favours, heroes, and timeless stories people have returned to for millennia. All stuff to be tapped and funnelled into thrilling games. While the graphics in Might of Zeus are okay, and there is lightning flying about the place, Stakelogic and partner Jelly have chosen to go relatively light rather than dive deep into the topic. Ah well, that's their prerogative, so we shouldn't expect fireworks on every single spin. The gameplay matches the looks, being neither bad nor massively inspirational. Might of Zeus was extremely rare in the base game, to the point of being non-existent. Then when it triggered in free spins, it simply transformed selected premiums into wilds, leaving off the respin part. Free spins, by contrast, triggered quite often, with or without the help of the Bolt of Zeus. There the Boon of Hera popped up to flesh out the game. Its modifying abilities are pretty basic, just extra spins or win multipliers, but are capable of generating a few smiles should you progress far enough. It's actually possible to progress quite far, too, as wins reach as high as7,163x the bet – on the 96.41% version. Note that playing the next one down, the94.03% version drops max win to 4,619x. All in all, Might of Zeus was an okay game. It runs okay, has a couple of mildly interesting features, which can technically step up from time to time. There's little x-factor, though, nothing to really wow us, making the game pretty unmemorable when testing was done.
