Final Thoughts

In a nutshell, Lucky Twins Link&Win is essentially a regular Asian-themed addition to Slingshot Studio's Link&Win range of slots. It's not exactly a clone, one or two things have changed, but if you've played one of the earlier releases, you'll pretty much know what to expect. The only thing that really differentiates Lucky Twins Link&Win from the rest is its Asian stylings, so if the visuals and soundtrack don't particularly appeal, little else here is likely to convince you to leap in otherwise. One of the main non-theme differences is that free spins do not multiply wins by x2 as they have in the past, which might not be the deal-breaker it could have been. The reason being is the Grand payout from the Link&Win feature here has been doubled to 5,000x compared to 2,500x in earlier Link&Win incarnations. In other words, players chasing down the game's top individual prize don't miss out on picking this one even though the free spins x2 win thing has been axed. Anything else? Not really from a gameplay perspective, but overall potential has taken a significant nose dive from the impressive figures of 25,000x the bet on offer in previous Link&Win slots to the current 6,110x the stake possible in Lucky Twins Link&Win. The size of the drop is kind of strange when you think about it since so much else has remained more or less the same. To sum up, for anyone looking for some okay hold 'n win type of action in an Asian setting, Lucky Twins Link&Win could be worth taking the time to check out further. If not, then there really isn't much here to get massively excited about. Slingshot Studios' Link&Win freight train powers on at a great rate of knots, so they must be reaching a receptive audience. Just speculating now, but it feels like there is a pretty good chance Lucky Twins Link&Win won't be the last of them, which is good news for proponents of the format.
