Into the Wild Megaways is an ably made game which delivers everything a North American wilderness fan could ever want from a thematic standpoint. Well, maybe not everything, if you like a touch of Native American culture sprinkled in as well. Into the Wild Megaways keeps cultural references to a minimum to focus on the natural world. Blueprint has also kept it pretty generic as well. There are few quirks or little details to make the game feel unique. It's all the sorts of rocks, dust, vast skies, and animals you expect to find in this type of game. Hey-ho. If you were hoping the gaming end of the bargain would boost the generic imagery, you might be disappointed. It doesn't do anything wrong. Blueprint's vast experience withMegaways(they were the first to licence the mechanic) ensures that Into the Wild Megaways runs as smooth as you like and is capable of powering out some nice consecutive cascade wins. The problem is it doesn't really do anything extraordinary either. The Replicator Reels feature is similar to Federation Wild Spins inRick and Morty Megaways, but a bit more potent, perhaps? Double wilds leading to wild reels could be interesting, though regular symbols were tougher to transform while we were testing the game out. The bonus round is a typical progressive win multiplier and free spins combo, so there is nothing particularly sensational to see. Potential is big, on paper at least, where wins are capped at 50,000x the bet, or 250,000 credits, whichever comes first. As well as coming up with eye-catching innovations, Blueprint Gaming is also extraordinarily good at making evolutionary tippy-toe steps as well, which kind of describes Into the Wild Megaways. This is standard Megaways gaming, using a stock standard theme, with a relatively newish feature on the side. Completist North American nature-buffs might feel the need to tick Into the Wild Megaways off their list, but others won't be missing a whole lot if they don't get around to giving it a try.
