Gameplay & Features

The aim of Flower Fortunes Supreme is tocollect orbswhich are stored on thelevel barnext to the reels. The level bar starts with 0 steps. Orbs add one step while landing aleaf iconremoves a step. Reaching higher levels on the bar adds rows to the grid andunlocks different features: Level 0– 5 rows (RTP 95. 32%). Level 1– 6 rows, Respins are unlocked (RTP 95. 56%). Level 2– 7 rows, Respins and Expanding Wilds are unlocked (RTP 95. 94%). Level 3– 8 rows, Respins, Expanding Wilds, and Bonus are unlocked (RTP 96. 15%). Level 4– 9 rows, Respins, Expanding Wild, Bonus, and Both Ways are unlocked (RTP 96. 41%). • Respins • When unlocked, landing aRespins symbolonreels 2-5triggers this feature. The Respins symbol removes itself and 5-12 random non-winning pay symbols. New symbols then fall down to create new chances to win. • Expanding Wild • When wild symbols land fromlevel 2 onwards, theyexpandto cover the full reel and get arandom multiplier of x1 to x9. If more than one wild is part of a win, the multiplier values are multiplied. • Bonus Game • Landing3 or more bonus symbols from level 3and above activates the Bonus Game, which is played at the end of the spin -5 flowersappear on the screen, and arandom number of picksare awarded. Each pick awards a prize of0. 25x to 100x the bet. • Both Ways • Reach this level, and winning combinations can be formed of matching symbols landing left to right, as well as right to left

Final Thoughts

Flower Fortunes Supreme is quite a puzzling release. For a sequel, let alone a supposed 'supreme' sequel, it's tough to think of why players might want to select this one over the original. Flower Fortunes Supreme is not a badly made game, but there's just so much less to it thanFlower Fortunes Megaways. Wherever you look, practically everything has been dropped to a lower setting as if this was the actual beta version that should have come out beforeFlower Fortunes Megaways. The fact you need to level up in order to benefit from higher RTP is a bit strange too although, to be fair, the default RTP is not terrible. It can be enjoyable for sure, collecting orbs, activating extra features and so on, though the voice that used to commentate the action is conspicuous by its absence. The levelling up idea is a clever one, and the combination of bigger reels with extra features can blow up the tension. There is a feeling you're missing out when playing Flower Fortunes Supreme, though, and one of the main reasons is the severe drop in potential. Now, the most to be had is5,000x the bet, which is less than a third of the 18,480x found in the Megaways version (we're yet to see proof of that potential though). Fantasma no doubt has its reasons, but they will probably be hard-pressed to find many players who would call that number slash 'supreme'. If we were to speculate, it feels like the hushing up of Megaways is in some way a motivating factor for Flower Fortunes Supreme's existence – though we could be way off the mark, of course. Whether you want to class this release as a sideways step or a backwards stumble, Flower Fortunes Supreme doesn't feel like forward progression. Since the first one was such a positive step-up for Fantasma, it is a shame. UnlessFlower Fortunes Megawaysis phased out, so there is no other option; there aren't many other reasons to pick Flower Fortunes Supreme instead of the chunkier version that preceded it.
